From May 12 to 23, 2026, the Cannes Film Festival once again brings together international film talent. MPC Paris, a VFX and image post-production studio within the TransPerfect group and official partner of the Festival de Cannes, is once again supporting several projects across the festival’s different sections this year.

We are also proud to see our colleague and VFX Supervisor Lise Fischer appointed as a member of the CST Artist-Technician Awards jury at the Festival de Cannes.
This recognition highlights her career as a VFX Supervisor, known for her high standards, precision, and expertise in image post-production, as part of a jury including Alice Cambournac, Bertrand Cocteau, Yolande Decarsin, Jean-Marie Dreujou, and Laure Gardette.

May 14, 2026, 2pm – The Power of French VFX
As part of Cannes Next, the panel The Power of French VFX, presented by CNC, will take place on May 14, 2026 from 14:00 to 15:00 at the Village Innovation (Pantiero). This talk offers a technical and creative snapshot of French savoir-faire in visual effects through two case studies drawn from emblematic works with contrasting aesthetics.
Béatrice Bauwens, Head of MPC, will concrete insights into production pipelines, workflows, and the main challenges encountered on these ambitious projects. Her case study will focus on the film Cold Storage, offering a behind-the-scenes look at its visual effects approach, from technical execution to creative problem-solving.
May 18, 2026, 11am – From Production to Pixels: Building a large scale VFX collaboration
This session explores the production and VFX collaboration behind Netflix’s Troll 2, bringing together production and VFX perspectives across Netflix, MPC Paris and partner studios.
Led by VFX Producer Mikael Windelin, VFX Supervisor Cyrille Bonjean and moderated by Béatrice Bauwens, the panel will cover how the project was structured from early production planning through to final delivery across multiple studios. The discussion focuses on large scale VFX production challenges, cross studio collaboration, and pipeline innovation. It will also highlight how production and VFX teams worked closely together to align creative intent, manage complexity, and deliver a high volume of shots within a unified visual approach.
May 20, 2026, 10am – VFX and storytelling: the art of supervision
Hugues Namur, VFX Supervisor at MPC Paris, will speak on Wednesday May 20 at 10 am. as part of the CST program, during the masterclass “VFX and storytelling: the art of supervision”.
With over 25 years of experience, he will share his vision of the profession, balancing creative challenges and technical demands, with a focus on recent projects combining live action, archival footage, and visual effects.
