The festival brings together filmmakers, artists, technologists and industry leaders to exchange perspectives, challenge ideas and explore what lies ahead for storytelling and visual creation.
Béatrice Bauwens, VFX & Post-production Director at MPC Paris, will take part in the panel “Cinema: at the dawn of a new AI revolution?” alongside François Dupont and Jérôme Genevray, moderated by Nora Legrand. This discussion will offer a space for open dialogue on how AI is reshaping filmmaking practices and creative processes.

Held across iconic venues including the Palais des Festivals and the Cinéma des Arcades, WAIFF has quickly established itself as a key international event dedicated to AI and audiovisual creation.
Two major official evenings will also take place at the Palais des Festivals. The first will celebrate artistic innovation, featuring a performance by the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra accompanied by OOVIE Studios. The second will showcase films from WAIFF’s international editions in Japan, Korea, China and Brazil, highlighting the festival’s growing global footprint through its network of satellite events.
