MPC Paris x Cannes Film Festival: 18 years of shared stories

For nearly two decades, Cannes has been more than a milestone for MPC Paris. It is a moment we experience alongside the filmmakers, producers and partners who trust us with their stories.

Each year, the Cannes Film Festival marks a key moment in the life of a film. Being part of that journey is something we never take for granted. We are grateful to the directors and producers who choose MPC Paris to support their films through visual effects and post-production image, and to stand with them all the way to the Croisette.

In 2026, we are honoured to accompany a new selection of projects reflecting a wide range of voices and creative ambitions. Our teams contributed to Marie Madeleine directed by Gessica Généus and produced by Sanosi Prod, presented in Cannes Première, L’Espèce Explosive by Sarah Arnold, produced by 5à7 Films and selected for the Directors’ Fortnight, Minotaure by Andreï Zviaguintsev, produced by CG Cinema and presented in Official Competition, Mariage au goût d’Orange by Christophe Honoré, produced by Les Films Pelléas and also featured in Cannes Première, as well as Le Triangle d’or by Hélène Ruiz, produced by Les Films de Pierre and screened in Special Screenings. Each of these collaborations represents a shared commitment to bringing singular visions to the screen, right up to one of the most meaningful stages in a film’s life.

The 2025 edition was equally significant, with six films entrusted to MPC Paris. We had the privilege of working on Jeunes Mères by Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne, produced by ARCHIPEL 35 and Les Films du Fleuve and presented in the Official Selection, La Venue de l’Avenir by Cédric Klapisch, produced by Ce qui me meut and screened Out of Competition, Love Me Tender by Anna Cazenave, produced by NOVOPROD, and L’Inconnu de la Grande Arche by Stéphane Demoustier, produced by Agat Films – Ex Nihilo, both presented in Un Certain Regard, as well as Enzo by Robin Campillo and Laurent Cantet, produced by Les Films de Pierre and featured in the Directors’ Fortnight. We also collaborated on the visual effects of Resurrection (Kuang Ye Shi Dai) by Bi Gan, produced by CGCINEMA and Les Films du Losange, presented in Official Competition and awarded the Festival’s Special Prize.

That same year, Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne received the Best Screenplay Award for Jeunes Mères. These recognitions resonate deeply with us, as they celebrate projects we have had the privilege to support from within.

Over the years, certain collaborations have grown into lasting creative relationships. Directors such as Jacques Audiard, with Emilia Pérez, Les Olympiades, Dheepan and De rouille et d’os, Laurent Cantet with L’Atelier and Entre les murs, Bertrand Bonello with Zombi Child, Saint Laurent and L’Apollonide, or Justine Triet with Sibyl and the Palme d’Or winning Anatomie d’une chute, have repeatedly placed their trust in our teams. These ongoing collaborations are at the heart of who we are.

From Entre les murs, Palme d’Or in 2008, to Anatomie d’une chute in 2023, through Amour, La Vie d’Adèle and Dheepan, MPC Paris has been part of five Palme d’Or winning films, alongside many other selections across Official Competition, Un Certain Regard, the Directors’ Fortnight and the Critics’ Week. Between 2008 and 2026, this represents 18 years of continuous presence at Cannes and around forty films accompanied to the festival.

More than a number, these years reflect something simple. Being trusted with a film means being there until the very end, in the moments that matter most. Cannes is one of those moments. We remain deeply thankful to all our partners for allowing us to be part of these journeys, and we look forward to continuing to bring stories to life together.
