During the General Assembly, Béatrice Bauwens and Olivier Emery outlined the key priorities that will guide the union’s actions over the coming months:
- Advocate for the industry’s interests with institutions, especially by pushing for the renewal of the International Tax Rebate — a crucial tool for maintaining the competitiveness of our companies in a highly competitive global market.
- Increase visibility for our sector. While our presence at festivals is now well established, we still have a long way to go in educating others about our professions and challenges, particularly among producers and other key players in the industry.
- Relaunch the Business Tour after the success of the first edition, which helped boost our visibility with VFX executives from US studios and streamers, strengthen our presence on the international stage, and lay the groundwork for future collaboration opportunities.
Additionally, the board has approved the addition of two new members:
- Armada Studios, a creative studio specializing in the design and promotion of digital twins for architectural projects, sensitive natural sites, and unique objects
- DRGNFLY, a company focused on independent production, supervision, and consulting for series and feature films
