Step behind the scenes of the visual magic of Animale, directed by Emma Benestan. Under the supervision of Lise Fischer, a team of 20 artists crafted the film’s 74 VFX shots.

From 3D modeling to fur shader creation, every detail was carefully refined for a fully immersive experience, using on-set SFX and camera metadata as a foundation.

Premiered as the closing film of the 2024 Cannes Critics’ Week and now in the running for the 2025 César Awards – including a nomination for Best Visual Effects – Animale is a striking piece produced by June Films, starring the brilliant Oulaya Amamra and elevated by Ruben Impens’ stunning cinematography.
