Meshroom 2025.1.0: a major step forward
Meshroom now offers a complete node-based visual programming toolbox with a new plugin architecture. The integrated AliceVision plugin unifies computer vision pipelines such as photogrammetry, camera tracking, HDR panoramas, LiDAR meshing, RAW conversion, and color calibration — now faster, more reliable, and more flexible.
Highlights include:
- Advanced Plugin Architecture with isolated Python environments
- Integrated Development Tools (built-in script editor, hot-reload for nodes)
- Enhanced GraphEditor with dynamic outputs, new InputNode, and improved user experience
- Improved 2D Viewer with timeline playback and RTI visualization

AliceVision 3.3.0 brings:
- New pipelines (color calibration, RAW-to-EXR, object/turntable/360° reconstruction, LiDAR E57 import, multi-view photometric stereo)

- Python bindings for seamless integration into machine learning workflows
AI-powered innovations
Meshroom also introduces an AI-based semantic segmentation plugin and new experimental extensions through MeshroomHub, including Gaussian Splatting, monocular depth estimation, and optical flow. These open-source contributions pave the way for the next generation of computer vision workflows.
