The nominated sequence, titled El Alegato, follows Zoe Saldaña through the streets of Mexico. While the story is set in Latin America, the entire scene was shot on blue screens in the Paris region. MPC Paris recreated the environment from scratch, delivering a seamless and cinematic result that blends realism with stylised storytelling.

The project featured over 350 VFX shots and posed both technical and artistic challenges to support Jacques Audiard’s distinctive vision.

Winners will be announced on July 31.
