Chasse Gardée 2 hit theaters yesterday, and MPC Paris delivered 250 VFX shots crafted to support the film’s pace and the distinctive energy of its world. The teams created fully digital herds of deer and hinds, brought back the iconic wild boar Moshé with meticulous attention to animation and integration, and developed an extremely fast hare that required extensive research to capture the right on-screen dynamics.
The sequences were supervised by Arnaud Fouquet and Fanny Bilani, with VFX production closely supporting every stage of the process. Directed by Antonin Fourlon and Frédéric Forestier and produced by Starman Films, the film benefited from a close collaboration between the directors and our artists, creating a cohesive, lively universe that fully serves the comedy.
