Synopsis

Roubaix, one Christmas night. Superintendent Daoud travels through the city where he grew up. The routine: burnt-out cars and altercations. Louis Coterelle, a recent graduate, has just arrived at the police station. Daoud and Louis are about to face the murder of an old woman. Two young women are questioned, Claude and Marie. Destitute neighbours, drug addicts, alcoholics and lovers.
