Synopsis

Minotaur (Russian: Минотавр) is an upcoming political thriller drama film directed by Andrey Zvyagintsev, who co-wrote it with Simon Liashenko. It stars Iris Lebedeva, Dmitriy Mazurov, Varvara Shmykova, Juris Zagars, and Anatoliy Beliy.

The film will have its world premiere at the main competition of the 2026 Cannes Film Festival in May 2026, where it was nominated for the Palme d’Or.
