Synopsis
An unscrupulous dealer of rare books finds himself at the heart of a string of paranormal events when he is hired to find the last two copies of a text capable of summoning the devil.
The Mikros VFX teams, now MPC Paris, contributed a small portion of the visual effects for Roman Polanski’s The Ninth Gate, primarily in the library scene.
Mikros talents involved included Thierry Beaumel, Sophie Blanc, Frederic Moreau, and Sarah Moreau as VFX Supervisors; Marguerite Cargill and Francis Polvé as Digital Artists; Christophe Courgeau, Claire Cuinier, Serge Dautheribes, Cédric Fayolle, Pascal Laurent, Julien Meesters, and Christine Szymkowiak as Digital Artists; with Gilles Gaillard and Pablo Ponce handling color grading.
